Fun With Spam

Since it's almost Christmas, I thought it was time for some lighthearted fun on this blog. So, I've decided to take something that's usually quite annoying – the spam filling our spam folders -, and turn it into something to laugh about, as Hermione already did a while ago. Of course, most spam comments aren't funny (and the amount of spam has become worse, as Our Bottoms Burn recognized, too), but in the context of being posted on a kinky blog, some of them get some very interesting unintended meanings. So, here we go (I left the wording of the comments as it was, including all the mistakes).

At first there are the people who obviously share their kink very open in their families, with friends and even colleagues. Like these guys:

Thanks to my father who stated to me on the topic of this website, this webpage is in fact remarkable. Commented on: Kinky Fantasies: Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler. To be honest, I would be a bit disturbed if my father recommended a kinky website to me, but hey, kudos to the openness in your family!

Wow, this piece of writing is nice, my younger sister is analyzing these things, thus I am going to inform her. Commented on: Hostel II: The Revelations of Guard #3. Okay, so what exactly is your younger sister analyzing: Kinky judicial punishments or the production of spanking porn? Anyhow, she seems to have very fascinating topics of interest and a very open older brother...

Hello there, You've done an excellent job. I'll certainly digg it and personally recommend to my friends. I am sure they'll be benefited from this web site. Commented on: Kaelah's Corner (Dec 2011): A Past And Future Secret. Great idea! I mean, whose friends wouldn't benefit from some kinky fun?

An impressive share, I just given this onto a colleague who was performing just a little analysis on this. And he in truth purchased me breakfast due to the fact I located it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the treat! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to talk about this, I feel strongly about it and love reading much more on this topic. If feasible, as you grow to be expertise, would you mind updating your weblog with much more details? It's highly helpful for me. Massive thumb up for this blog post! Commented on: Kaelah's Corner (Nov 2012): Time Passes By. Okay, your work colleague really performed an analysis on kinky couples (it's fascinating to hear what all those people seem to be analyzing, right?)? And he invited you for breakfast because you told him about this post? Yep, that sounds totally believable, I guess.

Hello there! This blog post couldn't be written much better! Looking through this post reminds me of my previous roommate! He continually kept preaching about this. I am going to send this post to him. Fairly certain he'll have a great read. I appreciate you for sharing! Commented on: Movie Review: Stalin. Ahem, now I am a bit scared. Your previous roommate really preached about Stalinism? Or was he just a fan of Lupus Pictures? The latter would really put me at ease.

And then we have the people who seem to be very impressed by our blog and our posts. Isn't it nice to get so enthusiastic comments on one's writing?

I love what you guys are up too. This type of clever work and exposure! Keep up the great works guys I've incorporated you guys to my personal blogroll. Commented on: A Blogiversary Spanking. Clever work and, not to forget, a bit of exposure – I would say that's a combination which describes the ambition of our spanking blog quite well (especially regarding a post that includes a kinky video)!

I'm impressed, I must say. Rarely do I encounter a blog that's both equally educative and engaging, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. The problem is something that too few folks are speaking intelligently about. I'm very happy I found this during my search for something regarding this. Commented on: Where No Man Has Spanked Before. Well, hit is the right keyword, but actually not the nail on the head, just my bottom with his hand. You are right, though, we definitely need more people who talk intelligently about their first-time erotic spanking experiences (especially since we have to make up for some awful BDSM-related trashy literature that has definitely been read by too many people).

Excellent beat ! Ι wish to apprentice while you amend your web site, how could I subscribe for a blog site? The account aided me a acceptable deal. I had been a bit acquainted of this your broadcast offered bright clear idea. Commented on: Holly's Severe Caning. To be honest, I have no idea what the heck you are talking about. But Holly's severe caning definitely was an excellent beat!

Having read this I thought it was extremely informative. I appreciate you finding the time and energy to put this informative article together. I once again find myself personally spending a lot of time both reading and leaving comments. But so what, it was still worthwhile! Commented on: The Massage Brush. Yes, there is nothing more informative than a post about pervertible massage brushes, is there? I am sure this was definitely worth your time and I hope you will have lots of fun with your own massage brush soon.

Wonderful work! This is the type of information that are meant to be shared across the internet. Disgrace on Google for no longer positioning this publish upper! Come on over and talk over with my site. Thanks =) Commented on: Kaelah's Third Blogiversary. You are of course absolutely right! My blogiversary is such an important event, it should be shared all across the internet. Shame on Google!

It's a pity you don't have a donate button! I'd most certainly donate to this excellent blog! I suppose for now i'll settle for bookmarking and adding your RSS feed to my Google account. I look forward to new updates and will talk about this site with my Facebook group. Talk soon! Commented on: The Final Test: Preparations. You really want to donate money so that we can prepare more kinky porn shoots? Aww, that's sweet. Especially when it's coming from a law firm. Not that there is anything legally wrong about making spanking porn. But still, I don't know many law firms that so openly support the production of kinky porn.

And finally, there are also helpful suggestions for enhancements of our site. Here a typical example:

I believe what you wrote made a ton of sense. However, think about this, what if you composed a catchier title? I mean, I don't want to tell you how to run your blog, but suppose you added something that makes people want more? I mean "Subject: Humiliation" is kinda boring. You ought to peek at Yahoo's home page and watch how they create post titles to grab people interested. You might add a related video or a related pic or two to get people excited about what you've got to say. In my opinion, it could bring your posts a little bit more interesting. Commented on: Subject: Humiliation. Thanks for your wonderful advice! You are of course right, humiliation alone is indeed boring. Would "Humiliated Spam Smart-asses" be catchier in your view? Anyhow, I absolutely agree with you, there is nothing better than a video or some pictures to get readers of kinky blogs "excited". Thank you!

So, that was our little excursion into the world of funny spam. I hope you had a good laugh! I think especially in the hectic time so shortly before Christmas there are lots of things every day which can potentially be annoying. Just like being flooded with spam, as we have been in the recent weeks. I wish all of us that instead of being angry we can take a step back and laugh about the potentially annoying things we are all confronted with every day. Hey, if nothing else, annoying incidents can at least give us fodder for kinky fantasies! I wish you all a relaxed and peaceful preparation of and for the holiday season.

Such a clever gal you are. I would have never thought about turning the spam comments around and having a bit of fun with them.

Very funny post indeed! I've seen a fair few of this type of post over the years, and this is easily the most entertaining. Thank you for raising a smile.

Flooded is right. The spammers are in full holiday mode, bombarding us with it. I enjoyed your take on it. I'm saving up some of the nuttier ones for another post.

Hugs,
Hermione

Very entertaining, witty commentary, and special consideration had tip to spammers - I am willing to bet that not even Kaelah herself would be able to write like that... ;-)
My take away here is the reminder that humans are born art critics, literary editors, and graphics reviewers. Anyone remembers the beginning skit scenes in "History of The World Part I?"
Enjoy your holidays! Do they still serve Gluhwein at Kristkindlmarkt?

I am enjoying the spammers' comments on this post, as I have subscribed to followup comments via email. They don't discriminate on which posts to spam:)

Hugs,
Hermione

Very funny. The spam I get is equally odd and I'll get slammed with 50+ comments per day on the same few posts.

Spam is one of the reasons I don't bother with a spanking blog of my own. Instead I place my finds at Chross where Iknow they will get the widest readership. I like to find items in archives and when I do it's like a coin collector making a rare find and wanting to share it with those who appreciate its value. Thanks for the awesome post - so funny!

lol!! Spammers are often just looking for a way into someone else's blog by posting some inane comment so they can get more interest in their own sites don't you think? So in my usual naughty girl brazen hussy style here is my attempt...

Happy Christmas and a spanking new year to you both and thanks for writing one of the most regularly updated and interesting blogs ever :) I have no idea how you find the content and I love the way you let everyone into your lives too and share your sense of adventure. Have fun!!

Love from Emma xxx (AKA junior secretary at Spammakers.Inc)

@ Our Bottoms Burn:
Thanks! Unfortunately, most of the spam isn't even a bit funny, but at least one can have a laugh about some spam comments.

@ Joey:
Thank you! :-)

@ Abel:
I'm always happy when I manage to raise a smile with one of my posts. :-)

@ Hermione:
I'm looking forward to your next post about your funny spam. And yes indeed, some of them spam comments on this post were quite funny, too. Especially the spammer who complained about the spelling errors! Maybe I shouldn't have posted the spam comments verbatim...? ;-)

@ Ronnie:
Glad I made you smile! :-)

@ Val:
I'm happy that you found the post entertaining! And yes, you still get Glühwein at all the German Christmas markets. :-)

@ Lea:
Yes, all the spam on the same few posts can be quite annoying. We even enabled the moderation function for posts which are older than a certain number of days because of it. Fortunately, Blogger's spam filters work quite well and usually the spam comments directly go there, anyway, without any manual intervention. Well, at least some of the spam comments are funny!

@ Sweetspot:
Glad you enjoyed the post! Chross's site is indeed the right place to post about findings related to spanking. Since Ludwig and I usually write rather long posts about very different spanking topics and about all constellations (M/F, F/F, F/M and M/M), I guess publishing them all on Chross's site could be seen as a spam attack. ;-) Joking aside, we sometimes use Chross's site to inform people about one of our free clips and the like. And fortunately, dealing with the spam on this blog isn't so difficult, because the automatic spam filters are very good. :-)

@ Emma:
Spam comments from you are always welcome, especially when they are so sweet! :-) A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your loved ones.

Giggle. Wordpress is VERY good about catching spam. I think only one or two spam comments get through in a month. Akismet or whatever it is disposes of the rest. After reading this, though, I think I may have been missing some fun!

Unfortunately most of the spam is just boring and annoying, but at least some of it is unintentionally funny!
