Free Video: Proof of Innocence

Dear readers, it’s been a while since we’ve published a post, and I’m sorry to say that this will probably not change until the end of this year. As I already mentioned, we are currently buried with work, plus the stress of a family life within the pandemic.

But Pandora / Blake gave us a reason to write at least this one post: they have edited a video clip which we filmed more than a decade ago and released it for free on their site Dreams of Spanking. We made an agreement all those years ago that the clip would be a free treat for their and our followers.

 

So here it is: Proof of Innocence

I wrote about the experience of filming the video (plus a second one which will be published this year as well) in this post from 2010. I had written the plot, and Thomas Cameron, Pandora / Blake and Ludwig brought this very special fantasy of mine to life with their passion and dedication.

Seeing the finished product right now sends me on a trip down memory lane. Making that video was a very exciting experience, but the prospect was scary, too, and it brought me to my personal limits. Why? Because this was not only the first time I made a spanking video with someone else than Ludwig (and right away with the famous Pandora / Blake and Thomas Cameron!), it was also my very first spanking experience with someone else than Ludwig, and the whole dialogue was in a foreign language for me. Oh, and last but certainly not least, the scene featured a fairly severe cold caning as well!

Fortunately, it turned out to be a good experience, because everyone involved made me feel comfortable, safe and cared for. I remember how much time we put into preparing the shoot, with Pandora / Blake and me exchanging e-mails with my story ideas. I remember how nervous I felt and how exhausting the day was, but also how happy I was about the beautiful filming location and the shoot turning out so well. I love the resulting video, especially the chemistry between Rosemary and Adelheid (Pandora / Blake’s and my characters).

 

 

Looking at the video reminds me how well Thomas brought to life my fantasy schoolmaster, calm and caring, with a beautiful British accent. Having him as the second top I ever played with was great, because he was just as calming and supportive behind the scenes as his character is in the story. And Pandora / Blake were a wonderful co-bottom, very reassuring when they were behind the camera and easy to interact with in character. I love how they role their eyes, the shocked look on their face as they inspect my marks and how we finally start getting along. Not to forget Jimmy Holloway behind the camera, who made me feel comfortable as well. And of course Ludwig, who knew that the prospect of the shoot made me quite anxious, also did his best to make sure it would be a good experience.

The story itself is, in a way, a simple schoolgirl CP roleplay. And yet I think it is different to most schoolgirl scenes you will find – and it is still very much up my alley. Adelheid is a lot like I was back when I was in school: an eager beaver, a goody two-shoes and not exactly the most popular pupil among her peers. Even the story of the failed art project and Adelheid’s disappointment that her teacher didn’t give her a hint that she was heading in the wrong direction is something I experienced in real life. So I put a lot not only of my personal kink, but also of the real me into that scene. And I hope the viewers can feel this, despite my poor acting skills and the difficulties that come with making a film in a foreign language. The good thing is that the real nervousness I felt during filming actually fits Adelheid’s character very well, since she finds herself in a very new and scary situation as well.

Lots of things have changed in the lives of those involved in the clip since 2010. At the time of filming, we were two real-life couples for whom erotic kink played a very important role in their lives. Pandora / Blake was still in the process of planning their ethical porn site with Thomas Cameron. Ludwig and I had only become a couple a year-and-a-half earlier, and we had just started exploring our kink together. Ludwig’s Rohrstock-Palast had lots of readers and commenters, and we were writing frequently about our kinky experiences and thoughts.

And today? Pandora / Blake and Thomas Cameron are not a couple anymore, and Ludwig and I are a married old couple. Dreams of Spanking has become a successful site for ethical porn. Pandora / Blake is an actress, producer, writer and activist, plus a parent. Ludwig and I are parents, too. At the moment kink doesn’t play an important part in our lives anymore. Taking all that into account, watching the film makes me feel as if it not only comes from a time very long ago, but almost from an entirely different life. And yet, it is wonderful to take a look back and to realise how much I still like what we created back them. Thank you, Pandora / Blake, for turning it into a finished video!

So, I’m using this opportunity to say hi to your all and I hope that you enjoy the trip back in time like I did. Yes, the video quality wasn’t as good back than as it is today, but that was 2010, you know? Right now, in a world that faces a pandemic, war, environmental catastrophes and economic challenges, I think it is all the more important to share good things and to make sure we don’t lose our smile. If the clip brings a smile to your face, I think it was worth our passion and effort.

Kaelah's Corner (Aug 2016): Seven

It's hard to believe, but this is indeed the Kaelah's Corner post for my seventh blogiversary! My first-ever post was published in August 2009. Thank you very much to all of you who accompanied me on my journey during these years and especially to those who commented on my posts to encourage me and to share their thoughts and experiences.

For this special occasion Ludwig and I finally managed to edit one of our videos for your entertainment. Fittingly, it is the outdoor birching which was the result of my sixth blogiversary last year. You can read all about the shoot here. Thanks a lot to all of you who participated in the vote!

I hope you enjoy the clip! One of Ludwig's and my favourite parts is my genuine, spontaneous reaction to the very first stroke.

Another special aspect of the clip is that I didn't erase our behind the scenes negotiation that took place when I had to call for a halt after eight strokes. I found it quite entertaining and thought it would give you some insights on how we communicate during a scene -  well, and in general. I guess we are a bit like Statler and Waldorf! ;-)
 
Normally it's me who wants to do things fast and efficiently! In this case it was Ludwig who wanted to get the outdoor shoot over with as quickly as possible, though. The risk of someone passing by while we were shooting the clip made him feel quite uncomfortable. I, on the other hand, was more focussed on my burning bottom than on worrying about being caught in the middle of the act!

Unfortunately the marks don't do justice to the amount of pain the wicked little birch produced. I'm happy that Ludwig confirmed how stingy that innocent-looking specimen was when I tried it on him later back home. The birching definitely was an impressive experience.

A Bedtime Caning

As some of you might have realised, I didn't publish my monthly Kaelah's Corner post in February. The reason is that it is about a difficult topic, so I need some time to think about it and to write it. But I think I've got a compensation which you are going to enjoy! Instead of Kaelah's Corner, I present you the final of the three clips you could vote for on last year's Love Our Lurker's Day.

It is called A Bedtime Caning and the title already says pretty much everything you need to know. Still here are a few words about the clip: A Bedtime Caning is a rather intimate video. At stressful times it can be difficult to fall asleep at night. So we thought that a bedtime caning might help to release some of the tension and make it easier to sleep well. A short OTK-cane seemed to be the most suitable implement for this endeavour. 

Downunder Don, thelongbean and Katie voted for the clip. I hope others will like it, too! By the way, in case some of you ask yourself whether the caning worked. Well, Ludwig slept like a baby afterwards! I still had some trouble to go to sleep, though. But making this clip was fun nonetheless. Maybe a long hand spanking is more suitable when it comes to sleeplessness?

The Ballgown

On our last Love Our Lurkers Day (or Global Day of Delurk, as we call it here), we let you vote on which of three videos you would like to see. The majority of you voted for the clip Office Discipline, not knowing that it is the one F/M clip among the bunch (then again, we have quite a few F/M fans among the readers of Rohrtock-Palast). We said at the time that we would eventually publish the other two videos as well. Today, we present you with The Ballgown.

This was the runner-up of the LOL Day vote, and a fairly close runner-up, too (6 votes versus 8 for the winner). Gustofur, Hermione, Secret Spanko, Chross, Spearthrower and New one voted for it. Secret Spanko wrote: "I like the idea of disrobing from a classy ballroom gown." And Spearthrower: "Like the ball season in Vienna (spankers' ball sounds great to attend)." Indeed it does.

Well, as it turns out, the special thing about this clip is that it features a caning over the ballgown, so no disrobing (sorry, Secret Spanko). Kaelah is a big fan of corporal punishment over the clothes [I am indeed!] and wanted to do one video like that sometime. I usually prefer to watch CP on the bare, where one can see the spankee's beautiful bottom and the marks in development. [Don't worry, guys, you get to see the marks, anyway, albeit only at the end of the clip. I made sure to edit a long marks sequence for you.] But I too am happy to try something different for a change. So we fulfilled Kaelah's fantasy. This clip does not have any storyline, it is simply a festive caning in festive clothes. [Plus, it features some rope, too!]

The dress is Kaelah's Chinese dress which already turned heads when we visited the 2011 Shadow Lane party in Las Vegas. I got properly suited up as well. We hope that the video will please dress lovers like our friend Peter in particular. And the rest of you will hopefully enjoy it as well. [By the way, the thin fabric of the ballgown didn't offer much protection from the bite of the cane, so there is no need to worry that I didn't feel the sting.]

Office Discipline (A LOL Day Clip)

The final LOL Day for Ludwig and me as bloggers has passed. Thank you very much to everyone who left a comment! It was wonderful to read comments written by old friends and hear from readers who haven't written a comment in a long time. And of course we were especially happy to welcome a few true delurkers, namely an anonymous lurker, taurusegest and Katie. We hope to hear more from you in the future.

Many of you also participated in our LOL Day vote. We offered you to publish a caning clip for free and you had the choice between three options: The Ballgown, A Bedtime Caning and Office Discipline. There was a short information about the three clips in our LOL Day post, but to make the vote more interesting, we didn't tell you everything about them. Only that one of the videos is F/M and the other two M/F and one caning is over the clothes while the other two are on the bare.

The vote was really close (votes from first-time commenters counted twice), but in the end we had a winner. Ludwig did all the editing in high speed to make sure that the clip would be ready in time. And so we present Office Discipline today! Here is the result of the vote:

Some of the comments made me grin. First of all, there was Chross who suspected that A Bedtime Caning might be the F/M clip. Nope, it isn't! And then there was Secret Spanko who explained his choice like this: It's a tough call- I like the idea of disrobing from a classy ballroom gown, I like the idea of an intimate bedroom scene, and the office scene is an archetype for good reason- it's hot to think about. But I'll go with the classy ballroom, because as y'all struggle with been there, done that... well, that scene seems to be the most original. Well, I am not really sure how archetypical our Office Discipline video really is (those who know us a bit might have realised that Ludwig and I rather enjoy playing with archetypes and expectations) – but decide for yourselves!

This is the plot in a few sentences: Mr Ludwig is a kind but ambitious boss, who sets very high standards. His secretary is used to Mr Ludwig's expectations and work ethics, and tries to support him as best as she can. This involves a rather unusual ritual which takes place every week. Each Friday evening at 5 pm sharp it is time to look back and talk about the things which could be improved. And so Mr Ludwig's secretary dutifully knocks on his office door for their weekly jour fixe...

Tit For Tat: A Love Our Lurkers Day Clip

I originally intended to post this one week ago, but my video editing program acted up. Working with these large files caused some bugs which I first had to overcome.

And that is the good news: Kaelah and I are pleased to release our first video in high definition. With a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it is on par with what the most state-of-the-art spanking paysites offer. The file is 455 MB in size, which should not be a problem for the large number of people with fast internet connections these days. I also uploaded a smaller (292 MB) file with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels for the unlucky ones among you still labouring with a slower connection and for those of you who would like to check out a low resolution "preview" before deciding if they want the large video.

What is the video about, you ask? I almost forgot: it's the F/M plus M/F caning clip voted on in last year's Love Our Lurkers Day. Kaelah and I volunteered to take two cane strokes for each delurker (i.e. first-time commenter) and one stroke for each regular commenter, and you could decide whether Kaelah or I should get "your" stroke(s). Instead of the one of us with the most votes getting all the strokes, we decided to split the video this time into an F/M part and an M/F part. The final tally was 19 strokes for me and 22 strokes for Kaelah, which was closer than we expected and goes to show that there are quite a few fans of F/M action among our readers as well.

In our previous clips, we always cut between different perspectives recorded on different cameras. But since the high definition camera has a different picture ratio than our older cameras, we could not do that this time (we would have had to put black stripes on the sides of the picture in some perspectives, which would have looked awkward). So we are showing you the canings in one continuous scene this time and inserted a smaller split screen showing closeups of the bottom and facial reactions into the upper left corner. It's an experiment of sorts and we are curious to see how many among you like it and how many do not. For Kaelah and me, it was certainly an interesting change of pace to record all the strokes in one take this time and not reposition cameras in between.

All Videos Ready For Download Again

Hotfile.com went "Poof!" some time ago, ceasing all services after signing a multi-million dollar settlement with the Motion Picture Association of America. It's an occupational hazard of one-click filehosters: most of them quietly support illegal filesharing by their users as their main business model, some of them support it a little more openly than others, and every once in a while, one of the latter gets busted by the copyright holders. In the process, all the files by people like Kaelah and me, who use the filehoster to legally share material they own, go down as well.

Anyway, I have uploaded our videos to a new filehoster and all of them are available again. Let's hope that this one lasts a while. A case could be made that a reputable one-click filehoster is an oxymoron, but I found one that doesn't bombard you with too much spam and won't try to install any "download accelerators" with probable spyware on your PC. Choose the "Slow Download" option, wait for the count to finish, solve the captcha and download the file. It's pretty self-explanatory, there should not be any problems, but do let me know if you encounter any.

LOL Day Switching

As I already told you in this post which also gave you a glimpse of the resulting marks, we finally got around to shooting last year's Love Our Lurkers Day clip. I edited the clip as quickly as possible, and here it is!

As some of you might remember, you had the chance to vote whether you wanted to see Ludwig or me on the receiving end of the LOL Day spanking. I got more votes and so my bottom was on the line for the clip. Since we underestimated the number of commenters and especially the number of real delurkers, we offered two strokes with the hand for every recurring commenter and three strokes with a switch for every first-time commenter. That resulted in a total tally of 62 smacks with the hand and 39 strokes with the switch! Thank you very much to all of you who took part.

Since there were so many participants this time, we decided not to read out all the names aloud. We included them as subtitles instead. So, if you want to know which strokes are "yours", you can download the high quality or the low quality version with the subtitles here:

Once you have downloaded the file, unpack the .zip package and put the clip file and the subtitle file in the same folder. Most video players will then automatically show the subtitles when you play the video.

The switch that I cut was rather heavy and the switching got quite severe towards the end. Switches tend to hurt a lot, but often don't leave intense marks. This one did, though. So this clip should also satisfy those among you who, like Ludwig and me, prefer spankings which are a bit more towards the severe end of the spectrum.

The marks are completely healed by now, though, so there is no need to worry. And, since the severity increased over time, I reached that wonderful state of empowerment that I often seek in my kinky play. We hope you will enjoy watching the scene as much as we enjoyed making it!

A Blogiversary Spanking

Yes, it's true! The last time Ludwig and I saw each other, we still didn't have a private kinky play session, but at least we managed to "squeeze in" filming my blogiversary spanking for you. And after an extremely quick edit – here it is! The clip is a rather straightforward spanking video this time. We hope you enjoy it nonetheless.

The great news is that I have finally accomplished an important milestone concerning one big project with Ludwig's help, which means that the next few weeks are going to be a bit less stressful. So hopefully Ludwig and I will have the time and be in the mood for some private play the next time we meet. I think I deserve a proper spanking for my achievement and Ludwig deserves some relaxation for having supported me so wonderfully, too. It looks like the LOL Day spanking / switching is going to be a long one as well. But let's go to the current video clip first.

Clearing the Debt

After a longer time without any free videos, I've finally managed to edit one that was overdue for quite a while. The Football Euro 2012 is history and Spain won their third consecutive major title yesterday. Congratulations! What could be a better time than the day after the European Championship finals to post a clip about football?

So, here it is: The Football Bet Clip! For those of you who don't remember the history of this clip, it all began with a bet between Niki Flynn and Ludwig on a friendly match between England and Germany back in 2008. There was a fairly complicated formula for calculating who would get how many strokes with which implement if they lost the bet, taking into account not only the winning team, but also the number of goals scored by each side and the number of blog readers (who could also take part in the bet) who had correctly predicted the outcome. For those who are interested, the exact details are explained at the beginning of the clip. In short, England won the match 2:1, which resulted in a final tally of six flogger strokes for Niki and 30 flogger strokes plus 18 cane strokes for Ludwig who had bet on the German team.

Sadly, Niki retired from the Scene not long afterwards, before she and Ludwig had a chance to get together again and shoot the video. It seemed like the debt would never be cleared after all. But, enjoying switching and switching tops as much as I do, I selflessly brought up the topic again in 2010. Admittedly, Ludwig was very willing to pay his debts because, after all, betting debts are debts of honour. When Ludwig and I found a more than appropriate substitute for Niki in the wonderful Leia-Ann Woods, otherwise known as the debt collector, Ludwig's fate was sealed. And even though I was a bit nervous about topping for the first time in front of a camera, co-topping with Leia-Ann turned out to be a great experience!

We had a lot of fun during the shoot and I think that definitely shines through in the final clip.

48: The Spanko's Answer to Everything

 

When the computer Deep Thought was asked for the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, its solution after a long time of mathematical processing was 42. When I asked for the Answer to the Ultimate Question about the Visitors of Ludwig's Rohrstockpalast on the Global Day of Delurk 2011, the answer I got was slightly different: 48. That does make sense, though, because kinksters love to add six of the best!

Thanks to everyone who commented on Love Our Lurkers Day. With your kind help, we created the little clip that you can download for free below. No complex storyline or costumes this time, but lots of action. And the time we saved for writing a story and buying customes went into new experiments with lighting, the ultimate quest for good camera angles and the post-production.

So, we hope that our early little Christmas present this year allows you to take a little timeout from all the stressful preparations for the festive season. Enjoy! And if you like and can spare the time, take a minute or two afterwards and say hi.

Kaelah's Corner (Aug 2011): Dachshunds in Space

It's almost unbelievable but it's true – this is my second blogiversary! I would like to use this post to thank all of our dear readers who accompanied me on my journey. No matter whether you are a new reader of this blog, a long-time reader or someone who just comes over from time to time. Blogging without an audience is boring and it's good to have you here. A special thank you goes to all the diligent commenters and those who provide such a thoughtful input to the discussions in the comment section.

I'm not sure whether anyone still remembers my first blogiversary post, but a brief look back might bring up memories of a little let's-get-the-readers-involved operation that was started there. In short, the readers could vote for a special outfit and strokes with an implement of their choice for a small blogiversary clip.

As a result, I had to face the challenge to come up with a storyline for a clip that involved a spanking in a Star Trek outfit, consisting of two strokes with a paddle, three strokes with a flogger, nine strokes with a riding crop, eleven strokes with a switch and finally twenty-one strokes with a belt. So I did, and after quite a lot of preparation Ludwig and I filmed a little clip back in November 2010.

It took me some time to get all the post-production done (in several phases, amidst all my other work), but now I can finally proudly present to you the result of my first-ever film editing work! Of course, we didn't have any professional technical equipment and no professional set or any assistance when shooting the clip. But I think that, for a little private fun clip, the result is quite nice. And if you take a closer look, you might find out that a lot of love for detail went into it. The clip is completely in English this time, so no subtitles are necessary.

What is the storyline of the clip? Well, you'll find out when you watch it. It definitely has all the ingredients a good Star Trek fan fiction clip needs: A lot of heavy talk and a bit of action, some techno-babble (or rather, scribble), the aliens and planetary system of the week, a lot of rather stiff acting and a profound moral message.

And before anyone asks: Yes, Klingon and German accents sound quite similar! And Half-Klingon's also tend to look quite bored when they talk about their aggressive Klingon side. That doesn't mean that it isn't there, really. It's just underneath the surface, waiting to be let out... Joking aside, those of you who have read my Mind Going Blank post might recognize that there is indeed some real-life background to the premise which I have chosen.

So, I hope you'll enjoy the clip (and kindly overlook little weaknesses, especially my German accent which was quite strong on the day of the shoot). It's made for you and published for free!

Enter the Dachshund

Hi folks, it's me, Kaelah. Merry Christmas to all those among you who celebrate this day and happy holidays to everyone! I'm flattered to tell you that Santa Ludwig made it just in time [Ludwig: for the Anglosaxon Christmas day at least!] and thus we have a very special and personal present for you, our dear readers. Last year our gifts were my first full nudity photo and the story about our first play. This year's gift makes me even more excited and quite honestly a bit nervous as well. Again it's a first – Ludwig's and my very first spanking clip together!

We already shot the clip about 1 ½ years ago, but didn't manage to edit it, yet. Which isn't that much of a surprise, given how busy we were and that the post-production required at least a full week of work. We had shot more than 4 hours of footage. Without the professional editing software which I bought recently, it would have taken even longer to edit the clip with all the pieced-together conversations, the different camera angles which had to be synchronised, and so on. And of course the result was supposed to be as perfect as possible. During the last couple of days Ludwig worked night shifts in front of my computer and now the post production is finally done. I think he did an amazing job!

All I did was try not to drive him mad with my comments. After all, you can't do all of the editing together, one person has to be in charge for the final composition of the clip. But of course I had remarks and ideas and told Ludwig about them (I wrote something about “trying” not to drive him mad, you see).

At least Ludwig was not as close to insanity as he was when we shot the clip, especially when we re-shot the action scene. Yes, I wrote RE-shot! When we looked at the footage after our first try, Ludwig and I both weren't totally happy with the result. Ludwig wanted to improve the camera angles. I wasn't happy with the perspectives, either, and even more importantly, I wasn't happy with my looks! So we decided to re-shoot the action scene some weeks later, when the marks from our first try had faded.

This time we chose the perspectives even more carefully and setting up the cameras took even longer. I nearly drove Ludwig mad because I wanted a rather unusual close-up bottom perspective filmed from above, which was quite difficult to manage, and Ludwig thought that it might look rather stupid. It's the last bottom camera angle during the spanking. Isn't it cute? At least Ludwig agreed with me about that point afterwards. But what really brought him close to insanity was the fact that I insisted on using a mirror. I pointed out to him that only simple geometry was needed to make one camera catch the desired reflection in the mirror without the second camera being in the picture. Okay, it's not that simple... But frankly, what is a debut video without a mirror?

Oh, before anyone gets that wrong: we had a lot of fun, too. Really! You can see it in the bonus clip which contains some outtakes from the shoot. Insisting on a bloopers video is the thing I drove Ludwig crazy with during the last stages of the post-production process, by the way. So, I hope you'll enjoy the video and the bloopers as well! Hello friends, Ludwig here. Merry Christmas from me the agnostic as well, and I hope that you like our gift. It certainly was a lot of work. Personally, I think it is my best free video yet in terms of overall composition and editing.

Inside the .zip package, you will find the main video, a smaller blooper video, and subtitle (.srt) files for each. Most common media players should be able to play .srt subtitles, there are guides on the web for this. I strongly recommend that you use VLC Media Player, because it is one of the best free players, anyway, and because it should display the subtitles without any additional tinkering. Just make sure that the .wmv video file and the .srt subtitle file of the same name are in the same folder, use VLC Player to watch the video, and the subtitles should show up.

If an unexpected number of people have problems with this, I will make a video where the subtitles are simply rendered into the picture (as in The German Lesson). But for now, I wanted to give you separate files so that you can enable / disable them. That is what I would prefer as a viewer. The subtitles are necessary because, obviously, almost all of the conversation in the video is in German. Kaelah's English is very good, too, so in theory, we could have done the whole thing in English. But because this is a clip that just shows us as ourselves, as a couple, we decided to do it in German. It is more natural and unforced. Sorry if it inconveniences the foreign cinema haters among you, but... It's your own fault if you are such cultural philistines!

I suspect that many regular Spanking Tube viewers would not like the video, anyway. It is 26 minutes long and roughly the first half consists of an extended interview / a tea ceremony with Kaelah and myself. But viewers with an attention span of less than two minutes, like the poor guy who left this comment, can simply fast-forward to the action-filled second half. Those of you with an interest in us as people, however, will hopefully enjoy the talky parts as well. The tea ceremony is, of course, a reminiscence of Kaelah's and my first ever play together, as are many elements in this first video of ours. So it offers a look into some very personal history.

When Niki Flynn informed me earlier this year that she was planning to retire soon, what was my reaction? Well, a great many things went through my head that day. Sadness, nostalgia, a sense of loss, also a sense of relief and optimism for her... Another thought I had pretty instantaneously was: "Oh, crap, that'll be another huge post I'll have to write!"

On second thoughts, I'm not going to do that, though. I'm not going to write a 4,000 word monstrosity (only a 1,500 word monstrosity). Because really, there isn't that much to add to what I've already said about Niki. The story of how we first met back in 2006 is recorded in Super Tuesday Serenade, one of my first blog posts. We made half a dozen video clips together, like The German Lesson and Who Has the Best Football Team?. We worked on German pet girl shoots in Life is a Circus and rampaged across the English countryside in The Wolfenstein Experiments.

So, if you've been reading my archives at all, you already know that Niki and I had a very special, deep friendship. If you've seen any of the clips, you know that we had a special creative and emotional chemistry. As I've said many times, she was my main inspiration for exploring my kink in earnest, for starting this blog and making spanking films myself - so in more ways than one, you wouldn't be reading these lines without her. Niki Flynn was a muse in the full sense of the word, to me and so many others. I once wrote: "How lucky we are that she exists. No mad scientist, no matter how big and complex his laboratory, could come up with a creature like this one." I still can't put it any better than that.

The only thing that now remains for me to say is: thank you, Nikita! Thank you for everything. It was a pleasure and an inspiration to see your work, and a privilege to get to know you as a friend. Of all the professional victims in the world, well, you were definitely one of them! And seriously... You changed my life. Niki Flynn will always haunt a special little corner in my heart - full of shadows, cobwebs, and whispers of Things Man Is Not Meant to Know.

Like everyone else who is both in the "friend" and in the "fan" camp, I have mixed feelings. As a friend, I'm truly happy. There is no doubt in my mind that Niki did the right thing, at the right time. I knew she had been feeling more and more burnt out, so when I got her mail, it wasn't actually a huge surprise. As well as that, nothing that really matters has changed - I'm still good friends with TAFKAN (The Antichrist Formerly Known As Niki), we still write each other and I'm sure we will meet again someday.

But of course, it's still the end of an era. There will be no more "Niki Flynn". As a fan and fellow blogger, I will miss her dearly. There won't be any more episodes of the "Niki and Ludwig Show", either. I'll never get to experience that particular creative buzz again, and neither will the viewers. Those days are over!

(On that note, a quick remark to the people who are already emailing me about how TAFKAN is and what she is doing: stop that, please. What TAFKAN really wants now is privacy. We should all respect that. Both Niki and Fiona are formally retired, and as sad as that may be, this is it. No comebacks, no more films, no more books, no not-blog entries, no email correspondence. And you're not getting any info from me, either. None, ever, full stop. So don't ask.)

The one thing I really regret is that Niki and I never made a "proper", i.e. full-length film together. Despite our long friendship and all the "public history" between the two of us, we never worked together professionally (unless you count my cameo at SM-Circus last year, where we shared about 20 seconds of screen time). Needless to say, we were always planning to make that big, awesome, epic CP movie. The culmination of the "Niki and Ludwig Show"! Our towering triumph! We had a finished script, a team of partners in crime, we even had the shooting date set once or twice... But it never happened. It wasn't anyone's fault, just unfortunate circumstances. For one stupid reason or another, we never got it together.

I'm still grumpy about that, and I suppose I always will be. But more importantly, I'm happy about what we did manage to create. It was just a series of little amateur clips, but as such, they were pretty neat. I'm proud of two in particular, Ludwig's Comeuppance and Shock Tactics Revisited. One is Niki's only F/M video ever, the other is just cute, laid-back banter and fun in a hotel room after a shoot. Neither is groundbreaking in technical or "CP action" terms, but both show sides of Niki which you didn't really see anywhere else. A very small, yet unique contribution to the Flynn oeuvre.

(On the subject of F/M videos, another footnote. This one for the sadistic pricks who have been pestering me about the football bet. Yes, I know that Niki still owes me a thrashing. No, we never got around to filming that, either. Trust me, no one would be happier than me if we had, because in that case, we would also have done the full-length (M/F) film! But TAFKAN's head just isn't in that world anymore, neither as a top nor as a bottom. I'll probably still do the clip someday, because betting debts are debts of honour. I'll find someone to take Niki's place. But I don't know who yet, or when, or where. Obviously, it would be most fitting if she was English. I'll keep you updated, but it will take a while for sure.)

I'm also glad that we managed to do the interview this month, the last ever interview with Garbo. I mean, Flynn. It turned out great and serves as another reminder of what we will all be missing now that she's retired to East 52nd Street. And while I'm tying up loose ends, let me throw this at you as well: with blessings from the Antichrist, a package of three short, previously unreleased video clips.

Inside, you will find two more Dances with Werewolves promos we did last year, including the best one which I was saving up for last (after we shot all the supposedly Youtube-friendly stuff, which Youtube later pulled down, anyway, I wanted to film one "adult" promo at least!). The third clip is just a compilation of us goofing around outdoors. Again, the clips aren't groundbreaking, but who knows, they might be the last Niki Flynn videos that will ever be released. Unless the nitwits from the BBFC allow China Hamilton and Michael Stamp to release Enemy of the State, which I very much hope they do. In any case, these may very well be the last spanking video clips of Niki. And they are free.

The legacy of Niki Flynn is unique, and so was the woman herself. As a professional victim, a writer, a partner in crime, she really was one of a kind. When I first got to know her three years ago, I was struck by what we had in common. We both liked Lupus Pictures (obviously!), we both liked horror films, we both had an interest in history... We had (or seemed to have) similar feelings about spanking and CP. But looking back now, I am struck by the differences we found over time, and they are what made things interesting, I think. At the end of the day, we were two very different individuals, with a very different psychosexual makeup.

What I ended up doing as a blogger is very different as well (for one thing, Niki wrote shorter and less convoluted posts!). There were some people whose writing I tried to imitate, most of them outside the realm of kink. But I never did that with Niki. She always had such an individual style, even if you had tried to copy it, you could never have done it. Instead, she really was a muse - someone who inspired me to find my own voice. And that, in my mind, is the best kind of inspiration you can get.

Lebwohl, Niki. Und danke für alles.

Almost a Birthday Spanking

As you know, I recently celebrated my first blogiversary, and "Ludwig's birthday" (which I've decided is January 13th) right along with it. Thanks to all of you for your good wishes. Except for the annoying and pesky female reader who reminded me by email that, normally, such an occasion calls for a birthday spanking. There's always one prankster among the party guests, isn't there? Then again, it's hard to argue with her logic, given that this is a kinky blog and all...

Of course, I could point out that I'm a top, who only feels like switching once in a blue moon. But that would be a lame excuse - and tops don't make lame excuses. So I'm in a bit of a dilemma here. Besides, I don't want to be a bad sport and spoil what is essentially a half-decent idea. Therefore, I've decided to show generosity, as a monarch should on a festive day. I am going to grant her wish! Well, in a way.

The truth is, I don't really have anything new to offer you right now. I suppose it would be a good time to pay off the football bet I lost to Niki Flynn (one of the very few people for whom I switch to "the other side" these days). But given our respective schedules, that will have to wait a bit longer. On the other hand, I have some very old F/M clips, which I made during my early kinky "initiation phase" when I was getting to know all the implements first-hand. But they were never intended as anything but private keepsakes and the technical quality isn't up to par. Moreover, some of the female tops I filmed with have left the scene since then, so I couldn't even ask them if it's okay to publish the material.

Which leaves me with one possible course of action: rehashing the Ludwig's Comeuppance video which Niki and I shot last year. Given that it was very well received and quality F/M stuff is hard to find, that might not even be such a bad idea. While you have seen the video before, you haven't seen all of it - we recorded the action with two cameras, and I can release the unedited footage from both of them as a "bonus scene" of sorts. Anyway, it's free kinky porn, and it's the closest thing to a "birthday spanking" you are going to get from me, so don't complain.

It should be interesting enough for the cane mark fetishists and fans of facial reaction shots among you. Now you can watch all of that, unabridged, from the perspective of your choice - camera 1 has all the strokes landing and the stripes developing, camera 2 has the reactions. In addition, we can all have another good chuckle at my "twenty-seven, twenty-nine" miscount. Grrr...

You know, I still have no idea how it happened, exactly. My recollection of the moment itself is vague (you could say I was under stress at the time). What I remember is that Niki responded to my "Have we started yet?" teasing with some very proper, painful strokes from 21 onwards. It got worse and worse, and after a while, I was probably thinking: "Yikes, she is really laying into it now! Good thing that there are only three left - the next is twenty-eight, then twenty-nine..." Whack! And I just said: "Twenty-nine!" Because my mind was there. I think that is pretty much how it went.

The moral of the story is, no matter how excruciating the thrashing, try to keep your thoughts from hurrying towards the finish line. Or you end up suffering even more. I was lucky to get away with only two extra strokes, but Niki made sure that they were both memorable.

Speaking of morals: just as in the original video, I used the famous sarabande by Georg Friedrich Händel for the bonus clips. The movie buffs among you will have recognised that the music and the title cards of the original were a nod to the Stanley Kubrick film Barry Lyndon. My idea at the time was to stage it like a classical "rise and fall" morality play, tongue firmly in cheek. It fit with the backstory of the video, the reader vote and all that. Of course, it's rather pompous music and not everyone will get the joke. But as you can probably tell by now, I work with a cultured target audience in mind, okay? Your own bloody fault if you don't know Kubrick...

(Seriously, "Barry Lyndon" is a wonderful film - get it if you haven't seen it. The photography alone is so beautiful, you could watch it with the sound off and still be spellbound.)

While the "Comeuppance" clip doesn't quite rival that historical epic, I hope that you like the bonus footage. Like I said, it's the only "birthday spanking" you are going to get from me. And it will be the first and last one of its kind. So take it or leave it!
