Awaiting Ludwig

Tomorrow Ludwig and I are going to be reunited. I've just made our bed and decorated it for him with these little items which I bought during our time of separation. Aren't they beautiful? I hope Ludwig will like them!

The great thing is, this time we don't only have the weekend, we will spend a full 1 ½ weeks together. And we will use the time to travel a bit and to meet kinky friends! Somehow I'm quite sure that at least a few of the items from my last shopping tour will make it into our luggage for the trip...

Oh, and in case some nitpicker wants to tell me that the bed sheets could be arranged more accurately – that would simply be a waste of time because once Ludwig is here they won't stay like that for long anyway, you see? Have a nice weekend, everyone!

Hi Kaelah,

You may be slipping a little in your bed-making skills! You should be able to bounce a quarter (or similar Euro denomination) on those bedsheets! I'm sure Ludwig will correct your bed-making shortcomings when he arrives! :)

In all seriousness, I didn't even notice the bedsheets until you mentioned them, and even then I had trouble seeing any problems with your bed-making skills.

I like your collection of canes! They are really beautiful. But why so many? Are you afraid some are going to break? :)

Now, I know Ludwig will be in town and you will be preoccupied for sure, but don't forget your fans; you know, the little people like me!

By the way, I like your new avatar. You look simply marvelous!

Have fun with Ludwig, but don't over do it! :)

Very excited that I'll get to see you as part of that trip! Although we've met before I feel I know you better.

Hope your flight isn't too painful ;-)

Eight super canes ! All nice and straight. Some double canes too And just how many ties did you lop off in the carnival ?

So much to discuss; so little time to discuss it in. Fly well !

Looking forward to seeing you during your trip! (And, of course, to reading the account of how Ludwig used the beautifully-arranged canes!)

Wow, almost a can per day. I hope you haven't bit off more than you can chew. Best wishes for the upcoming visit. We'll look forward to hearing (and hopefully seeing) all about it.

Ooh! Do I spy some pealed canes? Was it a good idea getting those? :)

Enjoy your time together.

I'm certain he will love all of them! He'll have quite a time choosing which one to use first. Do you have a preference?

Hugs,

@ Annapurna:
Some canes are for training sessions, others are for “real” play. We wanted to try different types and sizes, that's why there are so many of them. Thanks for the compliments about my avatar! :-) I change the picture every one or two months. And don't worry, there will be posts during our holiday. And maybe our holiday will also include some exciting adventures about which we will write here once we are back.

@ OurBottomsBurn:
Yes, we definitely will! :-)

@ Emma Jane and Abel:
I'm very much looking forward to meeting the two of you again soon! It seems like I will be able to sit quite comfortably during our flight to England – I'm not so sure about the return journey, though... ;-)

@ Peter:
Yep, the canes are indeed of good quality! There are not double canes, though. Some canes just look like double canes because I bought two canes of the types which we will most probably use more often and arranged them close to each other on the bed. Unfortunately I didn't cut any ties on Old Women Day this year … so far! :-) Looking forward to meeting you soon!

@ Redtail:
Thank you very much for your comment and welcome! Don't worry, the canes are rather a long-term investment. It's like buying several bars of chocolate at once. Buying them is okay, storing them in the refrigerator at home is fine, too, you only get into trouble if you try to eat them all at once... :-) But I'm quite sure that we will try at least one of our new canes more intensely during our holiday and you'll definitely read about it!

@ Prefectdt:
The peeled canes are the ones which are usually sold here in Germany. And no, I'm not sure whether it was a good idea to buy those because I hate the stingy pain they produce... ;-) But I have to admit I'm not sure about the effect of the other canes, either, because they are of course a bit heavier than the peeled ones. You play quite hard from time to time, have you made any experiences with peeled and unpeeled canes in severe play? Which ones do you prefer? And what about the time of healing? Any advice would be very appreciated!

@ MasonPearson:
Thank you and I'm sure you'll get to see some pictures! :-)

@ Hermione:
You are right, he loves them! I bought so many different canes because I wanted to try them and find out which ones I prefer. I have experiences with the peeled canes. They are quite stingy and I usually prefer a rather dull pain. That's why I want to try the unpeeled canes as well, but they are heavier... Maybe Ludwig and I will post a series of experiments with the different types of canes! :-)

I don't mind peeled canes but I do like to know that a peeled cane caning is happening. If I think that it is a normal cane coming then the shock of a peeled cane can take me by surprise.

Any advice from me on recovery time would probably not be of much use to you as I have been taking a drug for a genetic blood condition for many years now, that effects the way that my blood flows and means that I do not have much capillary damage from playing. As a consequence I mark very badly but recover at a rate that is much faster than normal.

I see why your marking and healing experiences might be very different from mine! But do you have any comparison between peeled and unpeeled canes? Does one of them mark you even more than the other or do the marks take a different time to heal? Or does that just vary from one experience to another depending on the warm-up, the development of the scene, your current condition and maybe the exact measurements of the specimen used for the caning?

I think Ludwig and I really should do a series on canes, trying out different specimens, always using the same number of strokes and level of severity...
